The Backup & sync will need to be enabled in the Utiful Settings. Once enabled, all Utiful folders will be backed up to a cloud storage and will be synchronized to any other of the user's devices with a Utiful installation, provided that Backup & sync is enabled on the other device too.
The initial version of the Backup & sync feature will use (surprise, surprise!) iCloud as cloud storage. In further versions we plan to add support for other cloud storage services as well, so that the user can decide where the backup is kept, be it due to cost or privacy considerations - we'll give users the freedom to choose!
With the new feature enabled, users will profit from extra safety for their Utiful photo library. Users won't need to bother about backing up their Utiful photos as this will be made automatically. If something happens to your iPhone, and you can't access it anymore, you just need to get a new iPhone, register on it with the same Apple account that you used on your old phone, and install Utiful. Utiful will then automatically download the backed up Utiful library from the cloud.
With the introduction of the Backup & sync feature, Utiful will reach an important milestone in the product development, which will open opportunity for further useful features like shared Utiful folders but also syncrhonization to computer.
